Scat Identification
« on: September 06, 2023, 09:30:15 AM »
Found this on the lawn right under an apple tree by the house.
Lots of hair and lots of nuts/seeds in it, but it wasn't really that big as you can tell by the clover in the picture.
Looked like what a small dog might leave.

Can anyone tell me what left this?

That makes sense.  I have a few coyotes that show up regularly on the trail cams.
The area where this pile was found is an area that has plenty of rabbits, so a target rich environment.
It's very close to the house though, so come October 1st, they better make themselves scarce.
