Walked up on a hen sitting on her nest today.

This morning I had a rare experience on walking up to a hen sitting on her nest. While walking through the woods to change locations to find some workable toms I came upon a hen sitting on her nest. When I got within 3 feet of her she jumped up, startling me and ran off. After taking a quick photo I left the area to let her do what mother nature intended her to do.
Very quit morning not one gobble to be had.

That's cool I was standing next to a large rock once with a hen sitting on the other side 2 feet away never moved

Good find. Have found a few nests over the years. No gobbles, that sucks. Been slow here also.
