HEATING UP
« on: October 28, 2022, 07:36:09 PM »
Went out Thursday afternoon and as soon as I stepped into the woods came across a fresh rub. Not soon after getting into the tree I then see a young buck following my HOT DOE SCENT drag line I made walking to the tree .. he was in my exact tracks .... Then a bunch of turkey popped out and some does and after I thought that same young buck left he came running across the ridge chasing the does ..... https://youtu.be/OA6l62YUfZA

Went out Friday am and GRUNTED and BLEATED a young spike in around 0900 and then climbing down I found a fresh scrape still wet ....  https://youtu.be/xDdWG7Uzh4I

good luck

Nice buck, that looks wide too.
I've been seeing some bucks on my trail cameras this past week too, but nothing following the does yet.

Go get him Grazan.

Yes, GREENSIDER!  My apologies for that.

I've got two nice bucks on my cams, one is a 9, the other either 9 or 10.  Both are on cameras within 125 yards of my front door, and they only ever appear in the middle of the night.
I gotta get their travel patterns figured out, hoping they spend some time back in the woods, ideally time when it's still daytime.
