Focus on things that we sportsmen need enhanced for recreation that are not stated in the plan... be they habitat work, stocking programs, parking, enforcement of game and state land laws, boat / kayak launches... There is a lot of emphasis in the plan on hiking, bicycling, camping, lodging and connectivity, and pretty much none on sportsmen specific needs and desires. Part of this is because there appears to have been little sportsmen response to the surveys and meetings (I attended one) over the past few years. See Appendix B for a profile of the respondents. Overall, we're collectively late to the party... time to make some constructive comments!
