Anyone pheasant hunting

Got my dog Jack out for the first time this afternoon. He locked up on these two and one more on the way out.

I got out opening day with my buddy and my setter. We moved and shot birds at Stewart. It got very warm... would have been nice if it was 20 degrees cooler!

On night shift since August so have more time this season than I have in years. Loving it. So is The dog!!

We hunted once a week, never came home empty handed.  Switched to ducks last weekend.  I might hit the fields once more this week.

Thanks, I added the wood duck photo.  She hunted pheasant on Friday and ducks Saturday, she was tired after the duck hunt, she wouldn't even stand for the picture
