Hello everyone, I’m posting this for a friend. Can anyone please identify this snake 🐍? I had one friend say that it is a gopher snake, (similar to a milk snake but bigger) Anyone else have any knowledge about this?
Glad it’s not my house, looks pretty big.

is it a different breed of milk snake? Cause it’s way bigger than the milk snakes I’ve ever seen.

Hes up in Gloster fishing, maybe he will comment about it one gets home, I’d like to hear more about it…biggest milk snake I’ve ever seen. And yes, if there’s a crack or gap in his house large enough for a snake..well he probably does have mice, lol lol

Good Bull for posting it for me DXT while I was out of town floating around Jeffrey's Ledge to put some ground fish in the ice box for the winter. That makes 2 ID's for Eastern Milksnake from here and one ID as a Giant Eastern Milksnake from a wildlife biologist off of this site. I'm going to confirm it with my friend who owns the old farmhouse where it was. The snake was left alone to go about its way and the my fishing was fantastic. Many meals of fish chowder I'm seeing in my near future.
