DIY antelope/ mule deer advice needed
« on: January 03, 2021, 12:09:32 PM »
DIY out of state hunting advice needed, myself and a few friends are looking for advice and tips for antelope/ mule deer hunting. I remember a few guys that used to post on here, and I’m hoping to get some advice as to where and how to get started.
Any and all advice would be helpful and appreciated, thanks.

ive only hunted Montana and either used a guide in the beginning and then latched onto a friend who has a ranch so never really did A DIY hunt …. in the area I hunted no problem getting a draw mule deer tag but the antelope is tough for an out of stater …. probably not true in other areas …. not sure which western states do over the counter tags but most I believe have a draw deadline sometime in March … @ least that's the case in Montana ….. everybody has tons of suggestions … u might find some helpful info on https://www.themeateater.com/ https://www.themeateater.com/hunt/big-game/so-youve-decided-to-go-on-a-big-time-hard-core-western-hunt-now-what
