Suburban hunting always has its surprises .... this past weekend i had 3 young girls walking right down the middle of my patch of woods .... after violently shaking and rattling everything in my stand I managed to scare them off and figured i also scared every animal away .... not soon after this guy comes running thru

i grunted @ him a few times and got him to turn and look but that was all ....

then feeling a little more confidence in the rest of the afternoon and approaching the last best hour b4 sunset this guy came out and took up residence itching,cleaning and sleeping assuring not much would show up  .....

i couldn't really tell .... i think he's a big 6 pointer ..... hopefully he lives thru this year to see where he goes
