I had a great time the other night watching and filming about a dozen Woodcocks flying and performing their mating ritual! What an amazing sight to see. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing , they are incredible littlebirds .
Their mating ritual is certainly acrobatic..
They fly like little helicopters...:-)

Very cool.  I just ran across one a few days ago.  I almost stepped on it, before it flew.

I kick up A LOT of them where i shed hunt. Sometimes they startle the heck out of me by flushing them so very close. Literally inches from my feet
