Call Senator Hinchey's office and ask that she vote against it. 518-455-2350
From the sounds of it they have heard next to nothing, one way or the other, from constituents.
-
Hinchey voted to advance the bill.
Sen. Patty Ritchie asked if the bill was for both rifles and shotguns (Yes). She said she heard from her constituents regarding the shortage of ammunition and asked if there was any “grandfather clause.” The response was the bill would take effect in January 2023.
Sen. Rachel May chimed in saying she had also heard from her constituents about the ammo shortage and said she hoped to work with Ritchie to address their concerns later.
That was it.
