Some people are just scum!
Many years ago had a friend shoot a buck in Westchester gut it then leave it to bring his bow and tree stand back to his truck.
In the time it took him to get back to the deer (maybe 30 minutes) some scumbag helped himself and stole his buck.
He followed the drag marks that led in the other direction but the thieves had already left and where never caught.
Glad things turned out better for the young man in this situation. That's a buck of a lifetime!
