hi steve. were you using bait?i can't seem to catch the browns on the rondout.any techniques that you can offer me. tom's  was out of sawbellies until about 9:00 sunday morning.

I was actually on the rondout sunday using toms shiners... i was targetting lakers on the bottom over deep water, we had two run and drops on the deep rods but had one rod down about 15-20' and we got a tiny brown on it. Having a fishfinder helps to see where they are. at pepacton i got 1 50' down and 1 10' down over 130' both on sawbellys

Side note: that brown wouldnt release and was too small to keep... a couple minutes later a osprey came down and snatched it up

I was there near the dam around 10:00 with my son  on sunday and when we trolled back to the meadows to put the boat back in he hooked a brown that had to be around 16 inches, but when I went to net it,it jumped and thru the lure. were you there when DEP  came to check?
