was out Saturday checking cameras and stands and all ready seeing acorns .... looks like the summer monsoons didnt hurt the mast crop .....

It's been raining acorns here for a couple weeks trees are loaded

I've got a few shag-bark hickory trees right behind the house and I was ducking under their low hanging branches while mowing this weekend, that is how loaded up with nuts they are.  It's going to make a mess when they start dropping them.  Really haven't been out into the woods much, but I'm hoping that the hickories aren't the only ones doing well this year.

same around here in sullivan county. Got me thinking early bear season  (hunt)
