Just recertified my permit it was due last year I called troopers they said they were never given instructions on any of it so I went online and renewed it

Some one said that the state went from 5 years to 3 years , without notifying anybody ..
Could that be true ? It's confusing

Yeah, anything to screw over the gun owners in NYS is ok with Albany
