I didnt striper fish last year as much as I usually do but I've heard by many reputable fisherman that the whole north east was the best fishing they could remember.. not sure if it's true or not but that's what I'm hearing

    I just picked up my new ride for this 2003 striper season in Ocean City Maryland yesterday I am going to name it a ?Hard Bite!?
    Of course now that I have it home it got snowed on . . . with more on the way next week

Definitely true, fished Montauk thru November and it seamed like the fish were never going to leave heading south. From live eels at night for jumbo cows to 50 pounds or throwing diamond or epoxy jigs thru the fall on all size class fish it was a very productive year !  So many other charter captains out there also said best fishing in 20 years.
