SCOTUS Decision on Concealed Carry
« on: June 23, 2022, 01:22:49 PM »
Supreme Court of the United States decides 6-3 that New York State is now a "Shall Issue" State instead of a "May" issue State for concealed gun carry, meaning you do not have to demonstrate or prove a need to conceal carry - now you will be able to conceal carry under issued permit.  Lefty judges were issuing permits but only for a gun within the home, not able to carry it - now if you qualify, you will be issued a concealed carry permit.
Does anybody know if those of us with existing conceal carry permits can now carry in the City?
PS - there were 8 Shall issue States, now there's 7, the remaining 7 will probably have to change to Shall issue
There are 26 States with Constitutional Carry (no permit required) which is how it should be.
