Good Bull SJ, do you tie your own jigs or use a certain kind?

Thanks! I use the brand “voodoo jigs” small ones like 1/30 and 1/60oz all colors but mostly prefer natural

On the pin how often or rather when do you go to a jig rather than say a bead or egg sac? Is it certain conditions or just a change up just to see whats working?  I have a bead box now I'm putting a jig box together.  While I'm picking your brain what is your thoughts on glass beads?  Any go to colors, sizes, or brands you prefer?

I’ll try them either when they aren’t biting eggs and beads or if I see baitfish around. Beads I’ve only used plastic and I use anywhere from 6-12mm anything from natural colors to pink and chartreuse just switching up til they bite.

Thanks Steve for answering my questions.  I know that your information is part of your living as a guide and it just goes to show what kind of fisherman you are by your willingness to help out others that don't have nearly the time on the water that you have put in.  If your near Cherrytown please stop into the farm and say hi, I have a bag of apples with your name on it.
