Thursday just more stories

Unfortunately, all I have are stories but I guess that’s better than no stories. I went out Thursday all day from 6am to 5pm and stayed in the same tree. The weather was perfect and I saw my first deer @ 0800 it was the same 4 point I’ve seen numerous times. Then a little later a doe popped out then a spike walked through. Of course a sit wouldn’t be the same without seeing the same 6 bearded gobblers that I see every time https://youtu.be/EEl-8Y1-qTk … I HOPE I see them come spring. After a series of blind calling grunting, bleating and rattling a mature buck popped out around 10am but just moved across the ridge to my front and back down https://youtu.be/-ALCcjuSbXo . Then a little later a lone doe showed up @ 11 am https://youtu.be/Fddwjz8MSZ0. I figured after 6 hours in the tree my wife reported me missing and the military sent out a search and rescue https://youtu.be/wlKWBYm-fNE. Shortly after the noon flyover another mature buck was out to my front feeding straight towards me then veered off into a trot  https://youtu.be/1UlJNG-u1aM . Well I’m going to dodge the remnants of the tropical depression and make the best out of the next 3 days …. Good luck

long day in a tree for sure hope your luck changes and one of them mature buck walks your way. I start my 4 week vacation today and after this weekend I plan on putting in some long days in a tree myself.. good luck.

great time to take off .... this am was the best ive seen ... 4 mature bucks seen from 10 to 11 ...... good luck
