  Red was nice enough to take me out fishing in Niantic today . . . we caught over 30 tog between us and limited out on keepers. . . we also managed 4 keeper Black Seabass. . . .
    . . . of course we are going to go out again tomorrow. . .

Day 2 - Caught our limit on Blackfish again.  75 degrees in October, and on the fish all weekend !
     If Ziffy asks you to fish, do not say no.
No sea bass but the Togs left us arm weary.

that's the only thing I dont like about fishing for them is cutting up them crabs.

         As you can see in this picture, I use Neoprene gloves and a pair of scissors to trim off claws & legs, then snip them in half . . . . .I always do it once anchored and use the claws & legs as chum to ring the dinner bell!

I'm fishing for them out of Montauk. Jumbo seabass are crazy at Block Island too.
