This year while striper fishing I saw some huge carp Swimming by I'm thinking the size alone would make for a decent fight anybody ever fish for them in the Hudson?

Yes . . . use strawberry flavored frosted mini-wheats moistened with water enough to be mashed into dough ball. Press it onto a smaller catfish bait hook (the kind with coil spiraled around hook)

They hone right in on it!!!! . . . Good Luck!

Saw some guys landing huge carp from River road shoreline by Esopus.

they still catching in the western sound? my boats been down, hoping the part comes today. It's killing me, seeing all these stripers being caught and not able to get out there.
