Bloodworms

From what I've been seeing, we won't be saving much money buying bait this year.
The most referred to number has been $19.00/dozen.
That said, even with gas at $4.50/gallon, and bait prices rising, a day fishing is still money well spent.

Looks like worms are gonna be about $14.50 a dozen currently.  Might change but that's the pricing I'll be at after talking with my wholesale supplier.

Yes i checked 2 places downstate by me and one was $14 another $12.50

I was hoping those higher numbers were hyperbole.
Anything under $15 is fine.

Paid 14.50 today which I wouldn't have minded but they where some of the smallest I have ever seen in years past most would have been thrown into the box without even being added to the count

No few perch nibbled but no bass I was fishing near Groton from shore tide was low
