Great News!  Nine days after he went missing at Stewart he turned up on 17K... still wearing the vest, shock collar, and regular collar.  He is a lot thinner but otherwise appears to be OK and is now safely at home!  Small miracle for sure!

That’s good news for sure. Lots of traffic going through those roads and nobody picks him up. How was he found on 17k.

Apparently he showed up at a home and they called the number on his tag, collar and vest!

That is a good question.  It might also be interesting to know if he held one at point for 9 days.  ;)

My English Setter came from the same breeder and holds birds very tight. Two times I've found birds literally under his head after he refused to break point. This after I stomped around for a long time trying to flush the bird... Probably a combination of training and genes!

He took off running down the road at Stewart... no deer involved that we know of.

I think what’s most impressive is the fact he got across 84 without getting killed or he was smart enough to use the only bridge off of Ridge road. Either way he’s one lucky pup.

I'm hoping it was the Ridge Rd. bridge... 84 was my greatest fear when he was running straight toward it!
