I found 1 and could smell another near my house in Hurley on the mountain.  Not good...

so based upon other reports posted it seems to go from Rosendale thru Binnewater lake to Hurley then east along the Roundout thru Kingston across the river thru hyde park/rhinebeck border ......

 too bad..... used to hunt there too ... years ago ... outside Germantown in an apple orchard ....

There are quite a few reports coming in from East Kingston up thru Saugerties and west Saugerties also.

like i said somewhere else ... the area seems to coincide with the prevailing west - east winds .... i was hoping after 2 hurricane like events it would've gotten blown out .... but doesn't seems that's the case

That one article, says it’s up into Hudson area.  I know it’s in places down around Marlboro. If it follows same pattern as last year, I’d expect Kingston/rosendale area, east to Connecticut border, to  take a major hit.

we have had these bugs around for as long as i can remember and never had deer die from them now all of the sudden deer are dying off like crazy and by the DEC not really putting much into it makes me wonder is this a PLANNED KILL OFF? just my opinion
