Not me after last season taking two good bucks and not having anything big on cameras yet and 10 plus feet of snow our deer were stressed all winter I have no intention of shooting any does and only a really big buck on our land so i am more relaxed for the coming season however the does behind my house that have been eating my new fruit trees ate in real trouble lol

I am in the same boat as walkabout. Usually wait until last week of October..  I enjoy chasing the pheasants early season w my kids and my GSP.

Been shooting here and there. Have to tune my back up bow and new strings on my main bow. 2 weeks in Illinois looking like Oct 30th til Nov 13 or 14th undecided about the return date yet.

I'm ready to try and get a freezer doe or early season buck in Oct.  Got a real nice doe 'still hunting' mid Oct last season. Helps take the pressure off of getting meat for the year

finally got my bow back last week after turning it in January for a broken site ... paper tuned it and hitting pretty good @ 20 yards
