Muskrat
« on: March 03, 2021, 07:18:45 PM »
Muskrat is a good friend from way back-just a little note to tell how good.

Years ago (probably around 40 or so) my Dad was getting up in his age .He was hunting some property where Muskrat lived and when he came out of the gated road to his car he rested his rifle on the fence adjoining the gate. He gets in the car  to rest and have a coffee(or maybe a beer back then). Guess he fell asleep and when he woke up -we all know the feeling-"Where the hell am I?" and proceeds to drive home. Well I call him after I get out of work to ask how he made out and he tells me he lost his rifle ????????   He tells me the story  what happened and right away I called Muskrat to ask if he saw the rifle. He told me he did have it and and to come up and get it--Made our day for sure although Im sure Muskrat was a little disappointed lol

Thanks again Bronson

Not sure I deserve all this praise, because I know any one of you guys would have done the same thing .....what's important is , that that old rifle stayed in the family and got handed down to future generations..  Gary's children or grandchildren, will hopefully hold that old rifle and remember their grandfather...that means more than any $ amount....
