warm weather

Im usually off from work during this time but kinda glad im not this year. Just wondering what i missed in the deer woods these last 2 weeks with this warm weather. I did hunt this past saturday and sunday and seen a little rut action but nothing crazy. Have the deer been moving and chasing much or did i make the right choice by starting my vacation next week.

I think you made the right choice. I have seen very little rut action and hope it picks up as it cools off end of this week or next week. Good luck.

Last week I was seeing more bucks than I expected searching and chasing does midday rather than the prime times of the morning or afternoon. Go figure! As we all know this time of year anything is possible, hope things pick up for you.
