todays RUT activity
« on: November 06, 2020, 07:08:37 PM »
Well its been a long wait for me but finally saw some rut activity during daylight today  ……. haven't seen much so haven't posted anything ….. had to abandon my Prime Bow hunting spot in 3m since there's no sign of life there anymore …. EHD has wiped out 90% of the deer in this once excellent patch of woods (since I keep a yearly bow log I have the data to prove it but its too painful to even look @) …. so needless to say NO DEER NO RUT ….. SWITCHED OVER TO MY OTHER AREA IN 3P and have some bucks on camera and started seeing bucks yesterday walking around …

this morning @ 0900 this 8 point followed my VS1 doe pee trail I made walking in:

I was barely set up this afternoon and around 2pm and 75 degrees I had a buck next to me crashing thru the woods chasing a doe ….

looks like the ALL DAY sits are gonna start for me ….

good luck

I can't hunt anymore, but I took a walk today in Westchester, with the wife. We heard something charging through the woods, so we stopped, and a doe with three bucks hot on her trail, crossed the road right in front of us. It was exactly 12 noon.  Then just a while ago at dusk a doe ran through our yard with a decent buck right behind. Get out there guys.
