Shotgun shell reloading question?
« on: September 17, 2020, 08:23:30 AM »
Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you in the Shokan/Kingston area reload shotgun shells? I would like to have to have a few made up To remember my lab that just passed away. I would like to store his ashes in a few shells. I know it sounds morbid but I couldn’t think of a better way. He was my hunting buddy and I’d love to be able to continue taking him in my blind bag for ducks. Please let me know if you could help me out I’d gladly pay for this service. Thanks! TenXTimmy

Timmy ,
You could get some all brass 12 guage shotgun shells , they take pistol primers ,
And then you can glue a fiber over shot wad in place , to seal everything up ..
Bob

Also - you could substitute primer for a nice brass eyelet , than carry this special shell on your lanyard with your duck calls ...

Another option is duck decoy urn. Hollowed our and you put ashes in that. Just a thought. I have seen them advertised

I'll 2nd Rons post.  Took me over 2 years to get over having to put my yellow dog down and getting a new yellow puppy. Looking back I should have gotten a new puppy much sooner than I did.  Life is way too short not to have a good dog at your side and in your home. Sorry for your loss.
