Youth Pheasant Hunt - State Release Sites
« on: September 10, 2020, 12:52:14 PM »
Complete noob on this forum, but I wanted to get some perspective on the crowds at the the state release sites for the Youth Hunts.  I was thinking of heading up to either Tivoli Bays or Lafayettteville to participate with my son who is 12.  Is it worth it or from the experience am I better off taking him to one of the many game farms?  I can imagine those sites are crawling with people on the regular hunt days, but thought it might be different for the youth hunt.

Stewart is wide open during youth hunts. DEC usually does a full stocking so there are plenty of birds.

Thank you for the responses.  Naturally we got jammed up with something and missed the Youth Hunt but he has a couple more years of it so next time.
