This osprey didn't care that bass season is closed

Got this osprey on my I phone today on a farm in Milton-- made my morning!  I know--lucky shot.

Great pic, prob same one that’s been down at Trapanis harassing his ponds. Caught a ton last year w either gashes or scars on them, most likely from bird of prey

They are working the bass in the ponds over.  I'm seeing them all over the valley.  Do they stay here all year or go south in the winter?  Don't think they would be very good at ice fishing!

They mostly fly to central and south america in the winter. A lot cool articles about tracking them out there
