Might not be a very fruitful fall with these cold temperatures we are getting.  Always wishing I had more time to fish and hunt in the Fall.  Careful what you wish for.  26’F at Tight cluster (growth stage apples are in now) = 90 % kill of flowers. Oh well... all the work all winter was good exercise.

I always think of you Appleman when the weather is like this. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you too and all the other fruit farmers out there. Mother Nature works in mysterious ways

I know everyone, I mean everybody in Marlboro, for the past 32 years in Marlboro, Milton, Highland, Middlehope, Gardner, New Paltz, Wallkill, Plattekill etc... that farms and I know that it got lower than 32 in the last 2days in all of those places.
