The couple times I have been by it I didn’t see anyone but the ice was not safe enough I think so maybe that’s why haven’t heard anything else maybe call federation

From the Federation:

There is still some contention and issues at Upton lake.  So we are instituting a permit system to allow individuals to use our lot there.  It is free, but you will need to have a valid fishing license as well.

Upton is private...........  The actual lake is owned by association.  Alot of these lakes that people say are private it is most of land that is private but the actual lake is owned by state of ny but in uptons case it is 100 percent private..........
