I’m back Hudson valley sportsmen! Last weekend I was able to get out here in the Hudson valley on 4inches of ice. Fishing was reasonable slow until I found a small school of crappies suspend on a rock pile. Managed to ice 8 crappies, 2 smallmouth, and a few bluegills. All my fish came on a 5mm jig head tipped with a soco baits hammerhead in sunfish color. Hoping to get out soon once ice stiffens back up!
