January doe season

Laundron:
I wonder if it would be easy to get permission if they are having such a problem.

mardo:
Not sure if its still the case, but Cornell university used to allow hunting on its properties. They have a TON of land. Permit system, first come first served. Search Cornell Deer Hunting, might be info available.

BuckSniper22:
I own 60 acres in the Tompkins county focal area. It’s the worst thing the state ever did imo. There used to be tons of deer when they first implemented the hunt 4 or 5 years ago. Guys came from all around and shot everything that moved. Your allowed 2 doe a day every day from October 1 thru end of season and then it reopens for 3 weeks in January. I never did the math but that’s like 200 legal doe per person. Now we hardly ever see does.  We actually don’t shoot does up there anymore hoping to get the population back up. It’s an anterless only program.
