I've been calling for 2 weeks to get live minnows delivered. the only wholesaler that will deliver to this area wont come this way over the holidays. Maybe next week but with the rain & warm up coming that may not happen either.
There is only 1 bait wholesaler left that will deliver fish to this area. with the lack of bait shops & the decline of those using live bait its getting tough to get. Over the years as the Bait & tackle shops have gone out of business So has the company's who supplied us. The combination of the lack of support for small business & the migration to the internet for everything is forcing most retail shops to close up.
Those of us that live near the Kingston area take a look around all the stores are closing up. Gander put all the bait shops out of business in the Kingston area the first time. Now there gone Again!
After 22 years we are still here and trying to find bait.
