On Sunday, in about a 15 minute period, I watched a number of hunters working a frozen lake in Athens... From the picture window overlooking the lake I had been watching a murder of crows for a while when a bald eagle showed up to sit in a dead tree. It sat there for a few minutes and then moved on. A few minutes later a red tailed hawk flew along the edge of the lake... Then a blue heron flew across the inlet and landed along the edge. It was standing there for about 5 minutes when a red fox crossed the inlet not 50 feet from the heron. We capture a fox on camera regularly as it passes under the lake side deck. I didn't see any quarry taken that day but like my days afield I enjoyed the hunt. Also, compared to being in NYC on Friday, this cemented my choice of where to live.

How funny, guys are ice fishing, yet I was out trolling today at Kensico, no ice anywhere. Managed 7 lakers and a 19' brown.

Good job. Trolled WB both days this weekend, very slow. Two small LLS and a small brown + 1 other hit. Spoons.

First ice trip today on North Lake had about 5” in all the holes I drilled. Caught a few perch and bluegill. About 15 people out on the ice.
Spud your way and stay on top.
