NYS Bail Reform
« on: October 20, 2019, 09:55:30 AM »
Take a peek at this article guys. This is scary stuff for those of you who haven’t of this NYS Bail reform. All it does is help the criminals. There are only a handful of charges that a criminal can be put in jail for after January 1st 2020. This is a far left wing liberal mentality of our government and will absolutely not work. Thank you NYS and Cuomo.

Just like giving prisoners I-Pads, felons the right to vote and now allowing criminals to walk free on own recognizance till trial is just another way of buying votes.... same principles eith creating sanctuary cities,  allowing free public education that we taxpayers pay for and free college tuition that my own son cannot get as a citizen! Absolutely bullcrap that Democrats and Left wing nuts are buying votes like this🤬🤬🤬

It really doesn't pay to do the right thing anymore. Quit your job, go on welfare, commit crimes for extra money, and you'll have a way better and more enjoyable life than us law abiding, hard working fools. Very sad state of affairs.

Its really sick to realistically think about this. Any drug offenses, could be a tractor trailer full of drugs, no questions asked the defendant gets an appearance ticket. Burglary suspect apprehended down the road from the crime carrying the contents from the burglary, appearance ticket.....like no bulloooo this is crazy. Very few offenses are arraignment / jail worthy.
Oh Yeah !

From what I have been told if someone breaks into your house and caught when in front of the judge he can request the crime scene to be preserved. Meaning you will have to vacate your house so scumbag can come and view/ take pictures and look around for his defense. This was from a OC DA. SMFH

This is absolutely ludicrous - the lefties never cease to amaze me with what they'll do to get votes!  There should be an electoral college in NY State or else divide the State into separate upstate and downstate States with separate Governors, Budgets, etc.

Not even a week in and already people of his own party want this law amended. The Jewish community is trying to amend one part of it making a hate crime exempt from bail reform. Guarantee with in the next few days king Cuomo amends this part of the law and hate crimes wont be part of the bail reform. He knows this is his largest voting block.. I guess assaulting a police officer is not a hate crime and u get a get out of jail free card..  Hate to say it but people are going to die because of this new law and if the liberal bail reform democrats dont see this they better wake up.

The pendulum on the clock of these left wing loons has swung so far left it went over the wall in left field. It's concerning for our law enforcement community because without bail for resisting arrest, hindering prosecution and so on, most of these dirt bags will without a doubt resist causing many of our officers harm, then walk out of the precinct laughing . Hope the people of this great state get out and vote these incompetent politicians out of office. JMO
