hey guys, anybody know a tracking dog?  I made what I thought was a good shot on a buck.  He donkey kicked and I let him rest for an hour.  Blood started slow but eventually got heavy and was no problem following. Bright red with air bubbles.  400-450yds later blood trickled and became harder to follow.  We lost him in a pine tree thicket.  Could have sworn I smelled him at one point but eventually decided to back out.  I have faith he is dead but a tracking dog would be ideal.  We just could not find arrow while we were giving the buck time.  If anybody knows a pup, thank you in advance!

This is live from my living room because I can no longer hunt due to back and shoulder issues. I'm sitting here with a tear in my eye as I watch buck after buck cruising through the woods behind my house, no chasing, just bucks cruising. If I was still able to climb and draw a bow I'd be gutting a 130+" 8pt. right now. :'(  Get out there!

Thanks, but it's not gonna happen, I'm only gonna get worse, especially the back. I suppose if I really get the urge I could get spots where I could use a crossbow and hunt on the ground. At least I can still fish, my reservoir boats are all right on waters edge, and fishing I can't get stuck 20' up a tree with back spasms!
