Any luck with the geese yet??? 5 days into the season and no posts! Going out today for the first time, gonna try the river in southern dutchess. I’m not seeing as many flying around in my usual spots as I have in the past.

I was thinking about going and getting a duck stamp and trying either this evening or tomorrow pm, only issue is I think a goose would drown my pup

Had 4 come in and dropped 3....that was it. Everything else was way out over the river or way up high. But the one flock that was close did come in so that’s a positive. Overall still didn’t see as many as usual.
