The Boat you'll be fishing on:
Aquasport 275 Express Tournament Edition with twin 200hp Mercury Outboard motors. The boat has 10' beam and is almost 30' Total in Length so you will have a very stable fishing platform. I can comfortably fish 4 people but more can be accommodated at a small fee.

This Tournament model Aquasport 275 is set up for Fishing!

- New Simrad Electronics package with navigation and radar. Top notch Sonar for best chance of finding those Trophy Fish!
-42 gallon lighted livewell with viewing window for the freshest bait possible to get that big fish to bite!
-huge fish boxes built into deck to hold your fish on ice until returning to dock.
- Full Hardtop and canvas enclosure to protect from wind and rain during those unpredictable days on the water.
- Large cabin and v-birth to relax and eat or just warm up on chilly days.
- Full head for when nature calls, women and kids really appreciate this!

I primarily fish Live Bait but will utilize other methods to put fish in the boat for you. Hudson River charters we use Live Herring and Fresh chunk herring most but certain conditions drifting Bloodworms is highly effective! For those seeking Trophy Size Class fish we will only use herring live and chunk for your best chances at a 40# class fish.

Montauk: Live Eels are the primary bait we use for trophy Striped Bass. MTK is the place for true giant trophy bass....

Guests fishing with me should bring:
- Clothing appropriate for weather conditions,  it's always cooler on the water....
- Rain gear if in forcast
- Sunscreen or sunglasses
- Food & Snacks: finger food and sandwiches are easiest.
- Drinks, Adult beverages are allowed but in moderation I want everyone to have a great day on the water.

I include all Rods, Terminal Tackle, Lures and Fresh Bait! If you have a favorite rod you wish to bring we can discuss if appropriate to bring on boat.

Had an absolute blast in Montauk fishing hardcore for 5 days spending 16-18 hours daily on the water.... such a mixed bag trip from Sharks, gator blues up to 18 pounds, absolutely tons of Fluke but fishing thru the shorts seemed to get the better of us. Black sea bass up to 24" and jumbo porgies came over the rail also.

Our Trophy Bass night trips did not disappoint even though bite was slower than typical full moons normally. Boated 5 personal best bass with 3 over 40 pounds, Kelly besting hers by 20 pounds if I recall the conversation at 42# 48" and Dave the following night with a 49" 43#er topping out the weekend high hook. Monday night we had James and Crew out again and after some lock and load Bluefishing in the shallows we hit the bass grounds where his buddy "Shish" nickname as I can't pronounce his real one boated a whopper 47" 39# bass.  I think it was his first ever Striper if I'm correct? His reaction to the bite was the quietest I've ever heard someone announce they are hooked up nonetheless with a 40 pounder..... Monday nights melee at the point with boat traffic had the bass scattered and the bite finicky but we managed another good eating size keeper before heading in.
