(It's  3 1/2 years old.)    Dentine wider than the enamel on the first molar.

Logics buck

This deer is 2 1/2 years old;  the second shot shows a little abnormal wear on the first molar, however the molars are sharp and still have a thin dentine (brown) line typical of 2 1/2s .

Im glad your on here D Henry i would be just guessing the age of the deer. I thought he was older. The hoofs curled up like a  an elfs boots any idea what would cause  this?  Thank you for aging him,

Logic's first picture shows a solid  3  1/2;  the second picture shows some abnormal wear (the first molar is low in the gum line, sometimes they have impacted food that causes this).

The wear on both of the last molars on both sides is a typical 3 1/2
